Whether you’re with a nonprofit, a corporation or a PR firm, you know that partnerships are key to leveraging your brand, serving your constituencies and proving PR’s worth to the triple bottom line.

So how strong are your corporate-nonprofit partnerships? We’re guessing there might be some room for improvement. Or perhaps you don’t even have a formal partner to help you enhance your organization’s reputation, boost member satisfaction and improve your corporate and nonprofit citizenship.

Whichever camp you fall in, we’re hoping you’ll join PR News and a distinguished panel of experts in nonprofit/corporate alliances to hear the best practices, the lessons learned, and some savvy, proven strategies for getting the most out of your partnerships. And, you’ll hear how the right partnerships can serve as a goodwill bank should a crisis strike.

On August 29, please join PR News for an exclusive 90-minute Webinar designed for your time-strapped communications team.

Through case studies, take-home strategies and lessons learned, our experts will help you:

  • Choose an “issue” first (rather than a partner first)
  • Forge partnerships that affect opinion leaders and policy makers
  • Develop a sound partnership agreement that doesn’t over-promise
  • Evaluate the worthiness of a partnership, including when to let go
  • Understand the grant process so PR is a significant contributor to a communications campaign
  • Communicate the plan to all publics and shareholders
  • Measure your partnership year-round
  • Create events and initiatives to further the partnership goal

What equipment do I need?

For the audio connection:

  • A computer with Real Player or Windows Media Player installed. When you log into the Virtual Seminar, your computer will be taken through a brief configuration check and will let you know if you're missing any software.
  • If you do not have Real or Windows, a touch-tone telephone will work also. It works best to use a speakerphone so that others can listen too.

For the Internet connection:

  • PC: 166Mhz Pentium-based PC or better
  • Operating system: Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP
  • Browser: For optimal viewing experience, we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. However, any version of IE 4.0 or higher will work. For Netscape, only versions 4.x are supported at this time.
  • Internet connection: 28.8 or faster connection
  • Display set at 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600
