At Warschawski, Ms. Christopher oversees all aspects of client servicing including strategic direction and counsel, media relations, issues monitoring, crisis management, and media training. She has led the development of a comprehensive strategic planning process at Warschawski, as well as a formalized media training program. Her work with clients such as The Athlete's Foot, Century 21, GORE-TEX, WINDSTOPPER, Under Armour, USA Swimming, Black & Decker, Penguin Publishing, DEWALT, The International Olympic Committee, Boeing, MaggieMoo's Ice Cream, Marble Slab Creamery, and Ripken Baseball has helped Warschawski win its more than 150 awards. She recently led the corporate communications initiatives surrounding Under Armour's initial public offering, which was the most successful American IPO debut in five years. Ms. Christopher is a published thought leader whose pieces have appeared in numerous publications and regularly is featured as an expert commentator in PR and marketing industry news outlets. She serves as an officer for the National Investor Relations Institute's Baltimore chapter. Prior to joining Warschawski, Ms. Christopher served on the public relations and marketing team at the Maryland Historical Society (MHS) where she secured regional and national media coverage and promoted all aspects of the MHS through advertising, print pieces, special events and media relations. Mrs. Christopher implemented strategic communication for the four areas of MHS, including a press which published approximately five publications per year; a museum with the largest object roster in the state which, on average, presented five major changing exhibitions per year; an education program which served over 89,000 people annually through on-site and outreach programs; and a genealogical and historical research library. During her tenure at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO), Ms. Christopher conducted media relations, coordinated press and direct programming events, and served as part of the public relations team for numerous major events including an international trade tour of Japan, the culmination of music director David Zinmans tenure with the BSO, and the introduction of Yuri Termirkanov as music director. Ms. Christopher resides in the historic Charles Village neighborhood of Baltimore with her husband, Jay, and her Border Collie, Brodie. She enjoys sea kayaking, running, gardening and reading, and especially enjoys traveling.
