Mark Weiner is the president of Delahaye, the world’s largest and most widely respected provider of public relations research and consulting, and a division of Bacon’s Information/Observer AG. After founding Medialink Public Relations Research in 1994, which then became Delahaye Medialink in 1999 after the acquisition of The Delahaye Group, the firm has evolved over the years and is now comprised of more than 100 researchers and analysts in five locations around the globe. Delahaye provides research-based consulting in the areas of marketing, corporate communication, internal communication and PR in 40 countries.
In 2006, his book, "Unleashing the Power of PR: A Contrarian's Guide to Marketing and Communication" was published by Jossey-Bass, a division of John Wiley & Sons.
Weiner is a regular contributor to IABC's Communication World, PRSA's Tactics and The Strategist, PR Week, and the Daily 'Dog. He sits on the editorial advisory boards of The Strategist and PR News. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of communication, public relations, corporate reputation and integrated marketing communication at international, national and local conferences such as those sponsored by the Institute for Public Relations, The Arthur Page Society, IABC, PRSA, The Conference Board and InfoCom, and at universities such as Columbia and USC’s Annenberg School for Communication.
Weiner is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators and The Institute for Public Relations, for which he served as the 2004 Chair of the Measurement Commission.
