PRNEWS celebrated this year's class of honorees for Top Women in PR in New York tonight (Sept. 7).
"There is so much evidence of strength and courage here in the room this evening, and we cannot be more excited to honor all of you, acknowledge the perseverance you’ve demonstrated throughout your careers and commend the leadership you’ve exhibited, in many cases, by pulling up others along with you," said Erika Bradbury, editorial director, PRNEWS.
Honorees were recognized in five categories: Change makers, Entrepreneurs, Industry Innovators, Mentors and Rising Stars.
Those women honored in the Change makers category embraced new opportunities for their organizations, while entrepreneurs were recognized for launching or rebuilding their companies.
Industry innovators had a marked impact on PR beyond their company, while mentors had significant impact on the career trajectories of colleagues. Rising stars are those in the early stages of their careers but who already have produced remarkable work.
