PRNEWS Announces Winners of 2022 Social Impact Awards

PRNEWS today announced the winners of its 2022 Social Impact Awards, which celebrates communicators and campaigns who use their platforms to better their communities and the global community. The program kicked off the PRNEWS Social Impact Summit.

Five pioneers were named in special recognition: Hanna Lee of Hanna Lee Communications; Tonya Veasey of OCG+; Jaclyn Tacoronte of JMT Media; Gigi Garcia Russo of HUNTER; and Kevin Wong of The Trevor Project.

APCO Worldwide was named CSR agency of the year, while Riot Games took home top honors for CSR team of the year. Pfizer's Caroline Roan was named as this year's CSR professional of the year.

For its work responding to the Texas abortion ban, Bospar PR won in three categories, including Campaign by an LGBTQIA2+, Human Rights Campaign, Social Good/Responsibility Campaign.

In the Employee Volunteer Program, AbbVie won for its COVID-19 Employee Volunteer Effort; the team also took home the winning award for the stakeholder engagement category for its COVID-19 Temporary Clinic in North Chicago for Seniors.

Team Lewis took home top honors in two categories (Corporate CSR program and Global CSR)  for its Causes program.
