Karen Raskopf was named Dunkin’ Brands’ chief communications officer in 2009. She brings more than thirty years of experience in the communications field to Dunkin’ Brands.
As Chief Communications Officer, Karen is responsible for all aspects of the company’s global public relations, including internal and executive communications, marketing, social and crisis public relations, event management, and corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. She also oversees the company’s government affairs, consumer care and events/travel departments and serves as the co-chair of the company’s Joy In Childhood Foundation.
Prior to joining Dunkin’ Brands, she spent 12 years as senior vice president, corporate communications for Blockbuster, Inc. Earlier in her career, she served as head of communications for 7-Eleven, Inc. where she led all aspects of public relations for the international convenience store chain. Her background also includes a position at Gannet Broadcasting where she was head of marketing and promotions for a top-rated radio station.
Karen is the recipient of several communications awards and has been a featured speaker at numerous international conferences on best PR practices.
Additionally, she is an outspoken advocate of women in the workforce and is a sought-after speaker for conferences dedicated to women’s issues
