PRNEWS Unveils 2026 Purpose & Impact Award Winners

PRNEWS has unveiled the winners of the 2026 PRNEWS Purpose & Impact Awards, which recognize the organizations, teams and communicators redefining public relations through purpose-driven leadership and measurable social impact.

Today’s top communicators are doing far more than managing reputation. They are advancing equity, championing sustainability, strengthening workplace culture and building trust with stakeholders. These awards are designed to spotlight communications that lead with values and deliver meaningful change.

“The Purpose & Impact Awards were created to recognize the vital role communications plays in driving positive change,” said Kaylee Hultgren, Content Director at PRNEWS. “These winners exemplify how values-led strategy, thoughtful storytelling and measurable action can build trust and move organizations—and society—forward.”

The top winners in this year’s competition include Aflac, for its “Tackling Childhood Cancer Through Kickoff for a Cause” campaign; Carol Cone On Purpose for its “Clean Earth Challenge: Turning Small Acts into Big Impact” program; and Bospar, which took home an impressive four awards for “Queer Joy is Resistance: How PR Turned a Sponsorship Crisis into Record Fundraising.”

We’re proud to showcase this year’s winners as they represent the very best in cause-based and values-driven PR. See all the winners here.
