Small Businesses Seek Quick Payoff from SEO

Slightly more than half (55%) of small businesses invest in SEO, B2B researcher Clutch says. Its survey highlights the gap between what small businesses (fewer than 500 employees) want from SEO and where they’re willing to invest in it. They want as many quality links coming back to their site as possible. Yet this is time- and resource-intensive. Social media marketing, though, generally is low-cost and can be handled in-house, thus 56% invest in it, Clutch concludes.
